I know it's a little late to be wishing everyone a "Merry Christmas" but like they say... It's better late than never. The new year just snuck up on us didn't it? Doesn't it seem like the older you get the faster things go? Well I guess that just means that we have to embrace and savor each passing moment.
We had a great Christmas. We stayed in Sandy this year, and went over Rod & Bobbie's home. She made some amazing cheese and broccoli soup (yum) on Christmas eve, then we had a bunch of food on Christmas day. Nini was very excited to get an iPod, since her last one was stolen :( Santa brought Nini some Sketcher boots and Allerah a "Little People farm" they both loved their gifts. Thanks Big guy! We much missed our familia in Sacramento, but our heats were with them. Maybe next year.
As for New Years, we have our home in demolition mode, since were texturizing & repainting the upstairs bathroom and 2 big walls downstairs. Now we are half way done, but it is starting to look spiffy. We are going to pick out new carpet for the downstairs this weekend and prepare to put our home on the market soon. Yes we are going to move soon. If all goes well, we will be selling this home, and building our home from scratch. How exciting for 2009! Anyway, we went over to Rod & Bobbie's on New Year's eve, and only made it 'til 11pm! haha. On the other hand Nini went to her first New Year's eve party, she was really excited and loved the fact that we didn't go check up on her.
Well the New Year is here....all we can do is brace ourselves for whats to come. This will be an exciting year for us, since we will be welcoming our 3rd daughter into this world in April. She is such a blessing, and of coarse we will be busy building our new home and selling this one.
I think that's enough excitement for one year. Let's enjoy the ride.
